What shipped, month by month · since December 2025 · drawn from today's data
We ship in public. Where the thing an entry describes can draw a picture from today’s data, it does.
Extreme Heat Warning, Arizona, California - today's biggest September 2026, newest
Publish lands on a moment picker, and a page for every alert
- Every publish ask on the site opens the moment picker: tonight's games, a town, a warning, a storm, a fishing weekend, each pre-filled.
- A page for every active alert, with the area drawn on its counties and the people under it.
- The home page opens on the day's first moment, drawn large, with the rest as small multiples under it.
- The old pitch stops leaking through share cards, the sitemap and llms.txt.

Editions on every moment
- Five templates - game, snow day, hurricane, fishing, alert - each opening pre-filled from its page, asking for a call and a note.
- One page and one vocabulary for every edition: the call, the mark against what the page said (agrees, stronger, softer, differs), the note.
- Editions appear on the moment's own page next to ours, on the forecaster's page, and in their followers' email.
- No grade shown anywhere public; observations sit beside the forecast they belong to.

Follow a park, a stadium, a storm or a station
- One Follow button on the moment pages; an email when the rating moves, a storm's track shifts or a station's day changes.
- The checkers run on a cron and send one email per change, never a digest of nothing.
- A /following page to see and undo what you follow.
Milwaukee Brewers at San Diego Padres: the board's rating through the morning September 2026, earlier
The board
- Every game on the slate ranked by how much the weather matters, in words - favours scoring, suppresses scoring, calm - never a number.
- A snapshot every hour so the morning can be compared with first pitch.
- A page per NFL game, named the way people search for it.
- The header, the footer and the home page rebuilt around the moments.
Cleveland Guardians at Chicago White Sox · Rate Field August 2026, newest
Ballpark and stadium weather
- Thirty parks and thirty stadiums drawn to scale and true north, with the wind resolved against the field.
- Gusts from HRRR; the Weather Service grid carries neither gusts nor an hourly rerun.
- The archived forecasts graded against what actually fell, and the published figure corrected when it overstated the error.
- Conversions sent to Google Analytics as well as PostHog.
Boston, MA tide station August 2026, earlier
Fishing conditions
- 260 NOAA tide stations with the next tides, the nearest buoy, water temperature and sea state.
- Conditions for being on the water, on a five-step scale, not whether anything bites.
- Follow a station from every page.
Extreme Heat Warning, Arizona, California - today's biggest August 2026, earlier
Warnings and storm reports
- Every active National Weather Service alert, ranked by the people under it.
- Storm reports from the Local Storm Report feed, matched to the warnings that covered them - as coverage, not a score.
- The national feed cached, instead of 727KB refetched per page view.
Tropical Depression Nine · 35 mph · NHC August 2026, earlier
Hurricane tracker
- Every active storm with NHC's forecast track drawn point by point - the positions issued, not a cone.
- Every advisory archived, so a page still renders when NHC is slow and so the forecasts can be compared with the track afterwards.
- Areas to watch, intensity in mph, a watermark on the map.
Denver, Colorado on the predictor August 2026, earlier
Snow day predictor
- 390 towns with a chance of a closure for every school day ahead, from the forecast and each town's own snow climatology.
- Nationwide town and ZIP lookup; a map per state.
- The call archived each day so it can be checked against what the district did.
- An email the evening before a likely closure, for the towns people follow.
Billy Henderson's Peak Winds August 2026, earlier
Forecaster tools and the city pages
- Map image maker: draw a forecast map, download a PNG, no account.
- The Skew-T sounding viewer rendered on the server, with a PNG download.
- City pages given climatology, county alerts and the nearest sounding, then reindexed.
- NWS forecasts archived from this point so accuracy can be scored later.
